Our Story

In the summer of 2021 Kitrina, a mother of 4 but a mom to many more, saw that her daughter, a highly talented musical artist with a love of glamorous hairstyles, needed help acquiring them. Like all loving mothers, Kitrina wanted to do everything she could to help her child achieve these styles.

Pulling from her 20+ years of experience as a professional hair stylist working in salons, as well as on sets for both fashion and music, Kitrina made it her mission to ensure her daughter looked the way she imagined her amazing styles to look. With her years in the beauty industry and her knowledge on which product to use to make the most luxurious styles Kitrina did what she could to help her daughter, this is when beautiful ponytails were created. Then one day, following a TikTok video her daughter made featuring one of her ponytails, Kitrina's work went viral. After 4 million views, and thousands of requests for orders, this gave her the ability to build her initial platform and brand "PoshPonies" which focused solely on getting her viral ponytails to eager fans.

In the fall of 2023, Kitrina, full of ambition and eager for growth, decided it was time to expand, excited about all the beautiful styles she can now bring to the table. After working with a design and branding specialist, Kitrina made a plan to become a leading voice in the hair care and beauty industry. Starting with the expansion of her hair products and services, Kitrina rebranded to create space for future growth and thus "KitBeauty" was born.
